Rules/Terms

The organiser of the 22nd Kraków Half Marathon Marzanna is the Running Association “Marzanna”, based in Kraków, ul. Sportowa 15, 30-001 Kraków, KRS 0000123456.

Co-organiser: City Municipality of Kraków – Department of Sports.

The purpose of the event is to promote running, celebrate the tradition of the Drowning of the Marzanna, and integrate the running community.

Date: 22 March 2026 (Sunday)

Start: 9:00 – Half Marathon, 9:15 – “For Little Hearts” 5 km Run

Start and finish: Błonia Krakowskie, al. 3 Maja, Kraków

Saturday, 21 March 2026:

• 14:00–19:00 – Race office and EXPO opening, race pack collection
• 18:00 – Online technical briefing

Sunday, 22 March 2026:

• 07:00–08:30 – Race pack collection
• 09:00 – Half Marathon start
• 09:15 – 5 km Run start
• 12:00 – Half Marathon time limit (3h)
• 12:30 – Awards ceremony

“For Little Hearts” 5 km Run: 1 lap around Błonia Krakowskie and al. 3 Maja. Total elevation gain: minimal. PZLA certified.

Half Marathon: minimum 18 years of age on 22 March 2026. 5 km Run: minimum 16 years (parental consent required).

• Entry fee paid by the deadline
• Medical certificate or fitness self-declaration
• Race pack collected at the race office

Half Marathon fees:

• Until 31.12.2025 – PLN 80
• 01.01–28.02.2026 – PLN 100
• 01.03–15.03.2026 – PLN 130 (limit: 3,000)

5 km Run: PLN 40 (limit: 1,000)

Entry fees are non-refundable. Race pack transfer possible until 15.03.2026 (PLN 20 admin fee).

Each participant receives: race bib with timing chip, technical T-shirt, safety pins, bag drop bag, sponsor materials. Medal awarded at the finish line upon completion within the time limit.

Timing via chips in race bibs. Overall and age-group rankings based on net time. Official results published at polmaratonmarzanny.pl/wyniki on the day of the event.

Rankings: overall (women/men), age groups (F/M): 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+, team (min. 3 members). Prizes for top 3 overall and age-group winners.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Rules. Changes published on the event website. Final interpretation of the Rules rests with the Organiser. These Rules come into effect on the date of publication.
