See the virtual race racebook – all key information in one place
- Register on www.startlist.pl and pay the entry fee (PLN 119 – includes delivery) for the VIRTUAL 22nd Kraków Half Marathon of Marzanna or the VIRTUAL 11th Kraków Run with a Heart “For Little Hearts” (5 km). Registration is open from 17 February 2026 at 12:00 until 22 March 2026, or until the places run out (250 spots per distance). If you are already on the start list, proceed to the next step.
- Plan a route of 21.1 km (half marathon) or 5 km wherever you like. You can use tools such as Google Maps or Strava. The route can be a single loop, multiple loops, or a point-to-point course. Please observe traffic rules and stay safe.
- Prepare a GPS-enabled device (e.g. a sports watch or smartphone).
- Download an app that can record your workout (e.g. Strava, Garmin Connect). Please note: the run must not take place on a treadmill.
- Between 19 March (00:01) and 25 March (23:59), complete your half marathon or 5 km while recording your workout with a GPS device. Your result will only count if the app records at least 21.1 km (half marathon) or 5.0 km (5 km run). The cut-off time for the half marathon is 3 hours 15 minutes; for the 5 km it is 60 minutes.
- Set your workout to public in the app.
- Log in to your athlete account on www.startlist.pl and submit your result by pasting the activity link and a screenshot from the app or a photo of your watch. Results must be submitted by 27 March at 23:59. Results submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
- Check your position in the rankings, which will be published by 31 March 2026.
- Within two weeks of the results being announced, race packs will be dispatched to all athletes who complete the virtual race and whose results are verified. Finishers will receive (by parcel locker or courier, delivery within Poland only, to the address in your athlete profile) a commemorative race number and a beautiful medal for your distance (see medal below). Athletes who also ordered a special edition T-shirt will receive it in the same shipment.
PLEASE NOTE!!! An athlete may transfer their entry from the in-person race to the virtual race. If transferring from the 11th Kraków Run “For Little Hearts” (5 km) or the 22nd Kraków Half Marathon of Marzanna (21.0975 km) to a virtual race of the same or a different distance, the athlete must pay any difference up to the current virtual race entry fee (applies to those who originally paid less than PLN 119). If the athlete paid more for the in-person race, no refund of the difference will be issued. A transfer is only possible while spots remain available on the chosen virtual distance and no later than 10 March 2026. To request a transfer, simply email biuro@startlist.pl and you will be informed of any additional payment required before being moved to the virtual race.
